On Saturday 27th May we saw what looked like a dead swan lying on the hard shoulder of the M62 eastbound near Normanton I am sorry can’t be more exact with location.. time was approx 9.30 am Please try and advise if it has been removed thanks

New Lane Selby restricted access ignored, 20th April
New lane in Selby has had extensive refurbishment and new road access designation along with new restrictions and road markings and signage. Unfortunately this work and effort and cost has resulted in the same issue of cars parked on the footpath and now ignoring the restricted access sign and entering from Gowthorpe during the restricted times.

Cars/vans illegally parked, 19th March
Daily van blocking full foot path , cars daily blocking paths and drop kerbs! Pedestrians having no choice but to use road to traverse parked vehicles daily , especially before 8am and after 6pm and weekends . This has been like this last year and finally getting fed up to back teeth of it .

There was a fire hydrant sign here, on the wall. The home owner has demolished the wall and now the sign is not visible.

Council removed tree and no replacement, 17th January
Prior to the covid pandemic it was reported that a damaged tree was removed and no replacement was forthcoming. North Yorkshire Highways and Selby District council denied responsibility. Selby has since become N Yorkshire Council but still nothing has happened.

The street sign attached to the property at the end of Westbourne grove has come loose and is only hanging on by 1 screw due to the recent storm. Who's responsibility is it to maintain it. It has potential to fall on someone if the wind gets up again. The property is at YO89DG

Parking issues on narrow street, 6th December
There are numerous vans that park down the street during both day and night, with it being a narrow terrace street these are causing issues for cars getting up and down the street, the sometimes block the corner and the accessible alley entrances. There isnt much parking in the street for residents and with increased vans and multi car properties it is causing an issue and a few near miss accidents
