Hole in Road, 21st January
About 2 weeks a massive hole appeared in the middle of the road. To be fair it was fixed within two days, but once again it was just a patch up job. The hole quickly appeared again and is now very large with great big chunks of the road in it...be careful when travelling towards North Cave!!! Why are the council not using the £6.2 million they have just been awarded to solely spend on road repairs in the East Riding?????

Sunken road, 17th November
There is a very dangerous dip which causes large lorries (which are now signposted down this narrow country road)to bounce all over the road, cars regularly bottom on this dip and many drive down the middle of the road to try to aviod it. From North cave to North Cliffe the road is sinking at the edges due to the heavy lorry traffic using this road. Please can the council remove the dip & either ban the lorries or repair the road to a HGV bearing standard.

Potholes , 26th January
The road is breaking up from Townend Lane through toA1079 at Market Weighton. It is in urgent need of resufacing and areas of new foundation. The council needs to place a weight limit on this road as heavy lorries from the agregate quarry use this as a cut through - this is a country lane and not designed to take this sort of traffic
