Main road drain is blocked, 10th February
The main road drain in front of my door is blocked, it has been for 5 weeks now and floods whenever it rains so the house is covered in mud and dirty water from cars spraying the dirty water up onto the house

The road is breaking up on the inside of the bend ans is starting to force cars towards the centre of the road. There are multiple small and larger potholes, plus signs of other parts of the road surface breaking up. This has the potential to cause a serious accident.

Fence collapsing into the Gypsey Race, 24th June
The Gypsey Race is undercutting the fence bordering the section of Marton Lane leading down to the Village Hall. The photo shows how the fence has been distorted and the other two photos show the two worst affected posts.
If the fence were to fail, this would lead to a very dangerous situation, so I think some urgency is needed to correct the problem.

'Slow' markings on road worn away / pedestrian crossing sign in ditch and has been for a year, 18th August
To whom it may concern - 'Slow ' sign markings from Rudston to Low Caythorpe (B1253) not visible on road; Signage knocked over and in ditch showing pedestrian crossing and has been for a year - No hidden entrance signs as tractors/estate vehicles turning sign into Thorpe Hall Farm on road side (concealed entrance from road) very dangerous stretch of road - cars speeding - public footpath crosses road (1000's of people cross each year) opposite campsite - previously dogs killed on road and very concernd for public on, near or crossing road. I have previously made council aware but nothing done as yet. Very concerned and worried given currently not safe stretch and council signs not vidible or warn - sadly, accident waiting to happen. Water on road, 18th December
Drains blocked leading to large puddles outside Church Farm. Passing traffic causes water to be thrown 2m+ up the wall and through any open windows. Also causes traffic to move closer to centre of road at a blind bend.

Road surface breaking up, 15th December
The road surface is breaking up and had already been the cause of a motor bike accident. There are many small potholes both here and along Woldgate towards Bridlington.
This needs fixing before the really severe weather starts.

A number of small potholes are growing along approx 100m of the road, mostly where holes were patched last year. If we have bad weather, these could quickly become much larger and seriously impede traffic.
