Lack of lighting, catseyes and reflective lines, 6th November
During my visit to the services, I encountered difficulty finding the entrance because of insufficient lighting. The road lines were barely visible, and it wasn't until I was in close proximity that I could locate the entrance. At one point, I nearly turned into a closed entrance.

Various places between Tadcaster and York College where over-hanging trees on the cycle path that runs adjacent to the A64 causing potential hazardous situation for cyclists., 19th July
There are several places along the cycle path between Tadcaster and York College where trees are overgrowing the cycle path. There are 3 or 4 places at the side of the A64 which might cause a cyclist to veer towards the A64 but the worst area is along the cycle path adjacent to Pike Hills Golf club on the A1036. Here the path is virtually impassable. York City Council have informed me that the maintenance of this entire stretch is your responsibility. I have tried for the last two weeks to leave my car at home and use the cycle path but now consider it to be too dangerous.
