FIXMYSTREET IN YO21 3QX
The following problems have been reported on Fix My Street within 2 miles of YO21 3QX:
20 + yards broken road surface, 20th January
This is less of a pothole and more the fact that the entire nearside of the road is breaking up for 20 plus yards. It has been like it now for weeks. A cyclist veered out into the path of the vehice I was travelling in today. Luckily the driver saw it in good time because she new of the issue. But on another day that cyclist might not have been so lucky. It is very dangerous.

Illegal Parking within 10 meters of a road junction, 17th January
Cars regularly park on this corner at the road junction which means traffic exiting from Mires Lane has to move to the wrong side of the road to reach Bennison Lane. At least 3 years ago the local traffic engineer suggested painting a solid white line on the corner to stop this dangerous practice but nothing happened. Local Parish Council also raised this concern with NYCC some months ago but again no action has been taken.

Some on pavement, and another bag of the stuff next to it on draincover., 21st August
On my way home today, I saw another load of Dog waste along this section of pavement.
There was also a bag of the stuff left on the draincover at the side of the road next to it (seemingly recent, as it hadn't been squashed yet).
This is in addition to the bags of dog waste left on the next draincover up the road on the approach to the roundabout, which I reported last week, and still hadn't been removed today (7days after I first reported it via FIXMYSTREET).
There was also another bag of the stuff on the junction of Runswick Avenue/Oak Road / Byland road, which I also reported a week ago (and which has since been bunged part-way down through the slots in the draincover for draining off rain water).
Lately it seems these are being left along Runswick Avenue & High Stakesby road (and occasionally Mayfield Road too in the past year or so) like clues along a treasure hunt trail.
