Potholes opposite road flooding, 20th January

Sun, 20 Jan 2013 17:13:48 +0000
54.093945 -0.278241

On the opposite side of the road to where it floods, there are two potholes encroaching into the road. They are very close to the line taken by cars to avoid the flooding and are growing in size rapidly. This has potential to cause accidents as cars are already moving to the south side of the road to avoid the water.

Parking on new footpath, 28th March

Sat, 28 Mar 2009 12:54:28 +0000
54.0981984678277 -0.258167463217012

As previously reported via this website, this new path was put in at great expense to enable children and parents to walk to school in safety. Once again [(27/3/09) for example] the path was completely blocked on both sides of the school by vehicles making the footpath unusable. Will the council take the appropriate steps with zig zags and signage & work with the police to enforce the law so the footpath is usable at all times and the road is not obstructed.

Flooded road., 31st January

Sat, 31 Jan 2009 13:03:55 +0000
54.0940852991626 -0.277352661712001

Everytime there is a reasonable amount of rain the road floods across the eastbound road. Given this is at the bottom of a hill. Will the council see that permenant drainage is installed? This road has many accidents here as the camber at the bottom of this hill is also very bad. Construction on the adjacent new gas storage area is starting which means much more heavy traffic using this road.

Blocked road & footpath at school, 20th October

Mon, 20 Oct 2008 10:30:28 +0100
54.0981084050284 -0.25786047539336

Further to e previous report via this site , on Friday 17th October the path adjacent to the school was impassable by foot because of the long line of vehicles parked on it - furthermore opposite the parked cars on the footpath was a large coach which made the visiblity zero. The whole situation is now very dangerous and an accident waiting to happen. Will the council ensure that there is school zig zag parking exclusion zone placed on this part of the road and make sure that the right of way of the footpath is enforced by either their own officers or the police.

Parking on footpath, 29th September

Mon, 29 Sep 2008 12:51:29 +0100
54.0982196551745 -0.25844820398117

The council spent a large amount of money on providing a pavement from Boynton Village to the school so parents would be able to walk their children to school and not block the road. Unfortunately it appears that rather than park in the village and walk, cars & large coaches are being parked on the footpath outside the school (there is a car park provided) causing the footpath to be unusable and the road to be dangerous as it continues to be cluttered with lines of vehicles. Since a lot of effort and money was spent on this scheme, will the council ensure that a zig zag no parking zone is placed outside the school and police the path to ensure it is used for what it was built for - walking on - not parking on. Thank you
