Traffic lights not working safely for a busy junction, 13th May
The slight pause between changes has been removed. A64 traffic jumps the lights making it a danger turning out of the village. They are also set in a sequence which causes long traffic queues at busy times. Always changing arrows for village/staxton hill when nothing is waiting. Motorcycles still not picked up at village side seen another have to go on red light this week because it didn't change for them. A lot of money was spent making these responsive to the traffic when originally put in years ago but they are just working in a set sequence since the new light heads were installed

On the A64 Road approaching the Shell garage and Harpers fish and chip shop the road marketing are very faded and unclear. On turning right into Harpers fish and shop shop their use to be road markings for to entry into Shell garage from this way and double give way lines leaving the Shell exit only, 4th May
Their has been many near misses from cars and vans entering the exit only way from the right hand turn off into this side Road. It dose not belong to Shell Or Harpers please could the Highways dept attend to assess new line painting before the very busy Summer season, it's not too bad outside of Summer but many tourists just pull in the wrong way.

Since the recent work on the traffic lights, the road lines are not registering motorcycles. I have had to go through a red light twice due to the right turn west bound and village exit not changing after going through 3 sequences. I have monitored this last week and have seen several bikers have the same issue. After speaking with a friend in the village, he told me this problem has already been reported by phone. Why has this not been dealt with as a priority. There is a possible risk to life which as a government department, you will be answerable to. Please let me know when this problem has been solved., 11th April
As above. You really do need to address this contacts reporting procedure.

Vehicles exiting layby incorrectly, A64, 19th March
This layby has a well signposted entry and exit access for vehicles. Some vehicles are exiting this layby via another area which has over time churned up the verge. This has created a muddy area which is then been deposited on the cycle path and has also started to be deposited on the road. I use this everyday and it is extremely dangerous and very slippy. Also road users of the A64 would not expect to see vehicles coming from this area. Some of the verge has bollards but this looks like a bollard has been removed deliberately so the user can gain access to the A64. I worry that a cyclist will slide on this mud and injure themselves or even worse be thrown into the road and traffic. Please could you look at this area, your views would be very much appreciated.

Lights from B1249 north, 22nd February
Hi, The lights going down Beverley Gate (Staxton Hill- Northbound) are only changing every 7 seconds. This is causing a long tail back up the hill. It is taking around 15 minutes to get through. The queue is backing up to a steep bend and this is likely to cause an accident.
