There are trees growing over fences that have been there for at least sixth months without being cut back. It makes the pavement incredibly difficult to walk along, especially as it is an area highly used by commuting students. Weeds are growing around the edges which further narrows walkways.

Faded cycling signs, 15th April
Hello, On the cycle path there should be clear path marking and signs marking cycle paths versus pedestrians (there used to be, but these have faded over time, and are stronger in some places than others), as people do not realise that it is a shared path and will wander in the path of cycles. In areas where there is a clear dividing mark (closer to skeldergate bridge), this is less of an issue. It would be beneficial to have the pavement signs repainted.

Lorry parked for 20 minutes, 1st April
Could not get out of my own road thanks to illegally parked lorry. Despite seeing me before starting the driver chose to begin unloading pub barrels. Reg: YK15 XZS

2 street lights out, 24th February

Around 30 potholes in this stretch of rd, 20th February
The section between St James Mount and Telford Terrace is almost impassable for cycles without constant swerving across the carriageway (the Little Knavesmere side is mainly ok). It’s peppered with about 30 potholes of varying size. Needs completely resurfacing, but short term repair would be better than nothing.

Potholes, 16th February
This road has been in disrepair for many years, I reported it years ago and a little bit here and there was repaired which in the end made no difference. In fact the first time I reported this road to the Council was 28th August 2019 that is how long this road has been bad. When Terry Avenue was resurfaced and sorted out recently it should have been fixed then it would have made a huge difference instead it is just left to get worse and it is very hazardous to cyclists coming down that road

Constant loud beeping at Hospital Fields Road & Fulford Road, 27th January
They “fixed” the 4 crossings at Fulford Road & Hospital Fields Road intersection a couple days ago. Now the beeping is constant and loud. They’re right outside my windows and they’re just as loud when I have my windows closed. With spring coming, I’ll leave the windows open more and it will be worse. Please lower their volume and restrict the beeping during certain hours. All 4 of them going off is just too much.

Slippery Leaves and rubbish, 25th January
Slippery leaf mush on pavement and cycle path at the corner of Bishopgate Street/Tower Street. This never seems to be cleared from year to year, a lady slipped over today on the wet leaf mush on the pavement and it is a slippery danger to cyclists on the corner. It also looks quite disgusting and dies not reflect well on the city.
