Potholes everywhere, 18th April
Potholes are all the way day Carlton Avenue. They were filled in last year and this has lasted approximately 8 months. This barely counts as a temporary fix… It needs resurfacing properly as it’s just getting worse after each time they are ‘filled’

Overgrowth on private road between Heslington Road and University, 18th April
There are trees growing over fences that have been there for at least sixth months without being cut back. It makes the pavement incredibly difficult to walk along, especially as it is an area highly used by commuting students. Weeds are growing around the edges which further narrows walkways.

Potholes on roundabout, 15th April
Lots of pot holes on this roundabout near the park and Ride - Has previously been closed as not a council issue, However - they are getting worse and worse each week and are causing issues with wheels being damaged - If this is not the council that should repair this, they council needs to update those in charge of the land and road and have it brought to their attention.

Entire road full of pot holes, 4th April
The entire Carlton Avenue is full of pot holes. They have been patched up last year but this made no difference as the repairs quickly disintegrated. It is becoming dangerous to cycle down, and I am concerned about the damage this is going to my car

Several potholes in road. Danger to vehicles, 13th March
Hi, there are several potholes on this section of Burnholme Avenue. The potholes have become larger and deeper over winter and have resulted in a road surface that has to driven around not over to avoid causing damage to vehicle wheels and suspensions. Can this please be fixed as the current state requires cars and bicycles to drive into the oncoming lane to avoid damage.

Parking over my driveway, 6th March
People are parking there cars to walk into town from fourth avenue.They block my driveway constantly. Visitors to my home have nowhere to park. I work 2 jobs so need to be able to gain access to my driveway and leave my home at certain times. The problem is getting worse.

Parking illegally and blocking line of sight, 5th March
Our industrial estate has become terrible for parking due to people parking in junctions, on footpaths and taking up the full length of the road into and out of the estate.
This is creating a difficult and dangerous road as nobody can see when pulling out of their junctions from their compounds. You also cannot see when coming into the industrial estate on Outgang Lane.
We have large lorries and other vehicles that go at speed down the road.

It is only a matter of time before more accidents happen because vehicles cannot see other pedestrians or road users on their way in or out of the estate.
I have more photos to demonstrate my point but couldn't attach them all.

Pot hole, 1st March
As you exit from the a1079 to the roundabout in the left hand lane to the A64, there is a massive pot hole and you have to swerve to avoid. York Council say highway responsibility. It was reported last October but still outstanding.

2 street lights out, 24th February

Dangerous parking on double yellows outside a school, 1st February
On the corner of meadowbeck close there has repeatedly been cars parking on the double yellows around school drop off and pick up times, with them occasionally blocking the driveway gates of the house on the corner. This dangerous parking has been happening for multiple months now, since schools went back in september.

Numerous potholes and very poor road surface., 27th January
Long section of potholes and very poor road surface. This is a busy section of road, so not easy or safe to vary your line of travel on a bike or in a car. The Bike path here is not fit for purpose, as too narrow to pass other users (bike or foot), and vegetation is not kept back either.
