There was no application by Worcestershire County Council to Divert Traffic onto the A46 Highways England Network.

Response to request :- "We have not received an application from Worcestershire County Council for permission to use our network as a diversion route."
Request :- There is a Road Closure on the A422 Upton Snodsbury, part of the diversion route along the A46 Alcester to Evesham. Please can you provide the following information :- 1) A plan of the route showing the location of all the signs and the sign numbers for the A46 section of the Diversion Route for both directions. 2) Details of any symbols that should be on the Diverion Route signs. 3) Details of the type of frame the signs should be amount on. 4) Maintenace Requirements of the Signing on the A46 section of the Route. 5) Any other relevant information.

Non Existent Diversion Route from 8.7 miles - A422 Upton Snodsbury Road Closure, 24th August
A422 Upton Snodsbury From B4082 Pershore Road to A441 Cookhill
There are at least 15 No. Diverted traffic signs missing from the first 8.7 miles of the diversion route. The diversion then improves to be just of a Very Poor Standard.

No information Sign and then the Road User gets sent on a 31 mile diversion route. On a diversion route that isn't signed for the next 8.7 miles and then poorly sign from there.

10 inch pot hole, 9th January
Following the recent rainfall a pot hole has appeared in the tarmac on the kerbside as shown. Cars nearside wheels hit this hard unless you swerve to miss which is dangerous

Damaged road surface., 5th February
The centre of the road (A422) is broken up down the centre line. This damage is causing serious damage to the three Bull Cottages due to vibration caused by heavy vehicles. Constant patching is NOT resolving the problem. This section of the road between the Atwoods Pub and The Oak has not been properly repaired during the 15 years we have lived here.
