Overgrown hedgerow, 6th June

Tue, 06 Jun 2017 10:10:03 +0100
52.211035 -1.977483

I've lived here for 26 years and this hedgerow has never been cut. It needs urgent attention as the tree branches are impacting on acccess to the road. A road sweeper came by a couple of weeks ago and couldn't get anywhere near the kerb so therefore the gutters were left uncleared. What a waste of time and money and also the job hasn't been done properly. What's the point of coming round then?

Footpaths overgrown, 21st July

Sun, 21 Jul 2013 18:17:00 +0100
52.215241548273 -2.005655483565

Both footpaths in this field are extensively overgrown with nettles, thistles and untended oil seed rape plants. In over twenty years of walking this is without doubt the most poorly maintained footpath I have ever experienced. This, combined with the situation near Dormston, suggests that land owners have complete disregard for public rights of way and the lack of enforcement by the local authority appears to suggest that they have carte btanche to do so.
