Litter along roadside embankment on A449 Inbetween Old Worcester Rd and Monksfield Lane, 17th January

Wed, 17 Jan 2024 20:05:40 +0000
52.172203 -2.23933

This is a real eyesore which has progressively got worse over the past 2mths. I'm a firm believer if the area is kept clear of litter and roadside debris it will set a good example and people will respect the area. If there is already litter this will simply encourage further littering.

School Crossing Lights, 7th June

Fri, 07 Jun 2013 18:57:23 +0100
52.157761015939 -2.2568852577203

I've several times noticed that the flashing amber lights around this school seem to be "on" even during school holidays (such as BHs). It's conceivable, of course, that the school is open, but this usually is not the case. Is this a county-wide phenomenon ? Are these lights on a simplistic time-switch ? I supposed its better that the lights are "on when they should be off" rather than "off when they should be on", but if they are on unnecessarily, drivers will start to disregard them.
