Large pothole on Bragmans Lane, 20th March
Reporting this fault again because HCC say they can't find it. This pothole is on Bragmans Lane where the road goes through a small wooded area. Going east to west on Bragmans Lane, it is on the left hand side of the road just where the road enters the small wooded area. It is roughly where a public footpath crosses Bragmans Lane. I have attached another map showing this exact location. The pothole was still there on 19/3/2024.

Large Pothole in the road, 6th March
Large pothole, having to keep swerving it. If a smaller vehicle hits it, most likely to cause damage. Thank you! slightly leftwards in the road ( coming from the plough pub in Belsize).

Road surface breaking up, 20th February
For some time, potholes here, near the Kia Garage, have been repaired, and the surface patched, as was done just a few weeks ago. The surface is now breaking up and causing traffic to try and avoid it, which in turn could cause an accident! It needs a proper full repair!

3 or more potholes near the crossroads, 5th January
There are at least 2”3 potholes in one area just up from the crossroads on Tower Hill. There has been patching before but this has caused more holes to form - one being particularly big and surrounded by others meaning it’s hard to avoid.

3 foot pot hole and deep, destroyed my wheel, 18th December
This is beyond a pot hole, it is a chasm, my left hand front wheel fell down it at night and destroyed by tyre, which has cost £70 to replace. It turns out I was not alone as my son had just hit the same pothole whilst driving that way only 30 minutes earlier.
There is no lighting on the road and the hole is black like the road so not even visible with headlights

At the point where the road bridge crosses Rucklers Lane (I believe that to be correct), there is a failed weather-joint on the road surface itself, which has lead to the development of two potholes.

Cars parked causing serious danger, 12th October
Cars are parking right on the junction of the dunney lane/chapel croft cross roads outside the osteria bar/restaurant, on a daily basis causing serious risk to life I've just witnesed are near miss and have been told that there was a serious accident earlier this year which was caused by cars parked as described above(police& ambulance attended) only a matter of time before someone is killed if there's any common sense then there should be double yellow lines around this cross road and police it

Flooding, 20th September
The rain water in this area floods down Megg Lane as the drains are continually blocked. Megg Lane is a private road and the continual flow of rain water down there from Langley Road has destroyed the tarmac by the bus stop down to Megg Lane. Because this is Highways lack of care I look to you to re-lay the tarmac surface. The residents of Megg Lane have recently relayed the Lane but the rain water from Langley Road is pouring down it and creating pot holes. This needs to be addressed by yourselves. Higher curbs at Langley Road may work but I imagine you have some professionals that could work out an answer. I look forward to your response before the winter weather makes it work.

Parking on grass verge and pavement, 12th September
The workers on the building site at the bottom of Chapel Croft are parking their vehicles on the grass verge and pavement in front of a bungalow opposite the Chantry View development. This is damaging the grass verge and restricting the pavement for pedestrians, particularly mothers with pushchairs. Today there were 6 vehicles parked there.
