Crumbling road at the join of the swing bridge, 9th May
Since the last report, I have checked today and the road is now disintegrating on bothsides of the road. Heavy lorries are heard slamming into the pot holes and you can now see the metal scafolding in the cracks as the bridge vibrates. This is a very busy A road and there are lots of lorries passing over it.
The noise of the vehicles hitting the holes, especially with trailers can be deafening at times, morning and night and becoming a nuisance to the residents in the area.
There were also 2 crashes at the Bank Holiday weekend as vehicles slow to avoid the holes, and when turning.

Football size pot hole on the bridge, 9th May
The hole has been reported to Cheshire West & Cheshire Council last year (August 220 without any action. The heavy traffic (used by many lorries and farming tractors/trailers) is causing the bridge to vibrate. Moreover, the loud banging of the trailers against the potholes can be heard across the valley of the river. this is relentless for residents as the nature of the road in relation to the motorway means lorries are using it morning and night.
