Blocked drain / gully, 9th February
M6 SB J21 central reservation gully blocked with debris causing flooding in lane 4, this also has an affect on NB with water flowing into lane 4. This is a safety problem for motorists as it could cause aquaplaning and loss of vehicle control. This flooding occurs after rainfall but it really needs the gully's and grids cleaning so rainwater can drain away.

Quiet day but parking still bad, 28th December
No place for cars to park, grass getting destroyed, might as well just remove the grass and make parking available for all the houses. Emergency service Ambulance struggled to get out of the street so I kindly let them on my drive to get away. 13 cars and one long van park in the area every evening so more parking is required.

M6 South J21A to J20, 19th December
The gantry signs all need sorting between these junctions, they rarely work properly. This morning around 07.15 there was an accident/Breakdown in Lane 4 at J20. The M6 was at a standstill, not a single speed sign above lanes was on from J21 to J20 (including no Red X to protect your own traffic officers in Lane 4). All that were on were 2 "Queue Caution" signs and the 'END' signs after the accident.

M6 South Thelwall Viaduct Pothole, 17th November
There is a pothole in Lane 2 on M6 South near the highest point of the bridge on Thelwall Viaduct (J21 to J20). It's not huge yet, but as it's on the fairly new road surface on that bridge, you notice it when you drive over it.

M6 South Thelwall Viaduct Gantry J21-20, 6th November
The last gantry on Thelwall Viaduct Southbound isn't working properly. When the speed signs come on, only lane 2 ever works. I'm sure you know that the one over lane 1 is missing anyway, but the ones over lanes 3 & 4 no longer come on. It has been like this for a week or 2.

Reported to Warrington Borough Council by resident who has asked us to log this issue with yourselves.

Giant Hogweed (Invasive Species), 7th July
Upon exiting M6 northbound at J21, to the left of the exit sliproad, I noted several plants that appear to be Giant Hogweed, which is an invasive species and harmful to human health. Being in the car at the time, I could not positively identify the red speckling on the stems, but the appearance, height (~3 m) and flower head size (~50 cm diameter) leads me to believe these are giant hogweed.

Giant hogweed, 19th May
Invasive giant hogweed is coming through here. It has been present for at least 2 years with the dead stems from previous years still being visible. The size of the stand indicates it has never been treated or hasn't been treated for multiple years. It is vital to control this due to its proximity to a water course.
This is the ideal time of year to control it before it seeds to prevent further spread of the plant.

Litter on verges, 20th February
We drove from Chester to Worsley and for the entire duration of our time on the M6 northbound, there was a considerable amount of litter on both verges. It looked like it hadn’t been cleared for years. It was revolting. Please litter pick more often (your reports of “twice per year”) are evidently not enough, or are inaccurate.

Electrical interference., 16th February
Just wanted to bring to your attention an issue I keep having when approaching the Thelwall viaduct going south on the M6. It does not matter which line I use but as I arrive at one point on the motorway my car experiences a problem that turns off the radar brake control sensor. This happens every time I cross this bridge coming south. (Never going north) and always at the same point. This is the only place it ever happens on my car. Regards P.

M6 North approaching J21a, 16th February
The matrix sign that is on the gantry 2 thirds of a mile before J21a on M6 North appears to be stuck, lane 4 constantly says 'End' , when lanes 1-3 aren't even in use. It has said this for quite a few weeks (even when the traffic is light and none of the other speed signs are on before or after this one).
