Uneven Surface, 17th July

How long do we need to put up with driving on what can only be described as a roller coaster. I appreciate there’s signs saying uneven surface but for gods sake it’s abysmal. When are you going to address this? It’s been like this for years.

Faulty speed camera, 19th May

Fri, 19 May 2023 13:50:52 +0100
53.433634 -2.515901

Friday 19th May 09:20am (estimate) I was travelling west bound on m62 between junction 11 and 10. The speed limit was lowered to 50 due to a vehicle obstructing the road, on passing junction 11 the vehicle was in the refuge area being assisted by police/traffic/motorway support. As I travelled towards the location of the speed camera the over head gantry speed changed from 50 to national speed limit sign. On accelerating I was probably travelling around high 50s/60ish as I went through the camera and it flashed a number of times even though the sign had just been changed to NSL

Motorway between jnc 11 and jnc 10 of the m62 westbound, is 50mph up to the over head gantry sign where it is reduced to 40mph just passed the westbound camera, Innocent people are getting caught in a 50mph zone doing 49mph by the speed camera yet they havent reached the gantry where it then starts 40mph, this has happened to myself and lots of other people As they are still in a 50mph zone as its not yet reduced to 40mph. What is happening - why is this happening?

Dangerous fencing, 28th November

Mon, 28 Nov 2022 07:12:53 +0000
53.43465 -2.51028

The fencing at the side of the motorway is not secure enough. I was involved in a serious collision yesterday on the motorway as two dogs ran from the well known dog walking site at birchwood onto the motorway. This isn’t the first time this has happened and the fencing is still not keeping dogs off the motorway. Please can someone look at the fencing to ensure dogs are not able to get through before a death is reported. Thanks Helen

This whole section in all 3 lanes from Jct 11 to 10 on the M62 westbound is almost undrivable. Its like driving over sleeping police men at 70 mph. Has this not been reported before and if so is there a plan to rectify the surface?

Matrix sign head west, going to cause a pile up., 16th July

Sat, 16 Jul 2022 06:40:50 +0100
53.434166 -2.510105

Hi, every evening Monday to Friday, your Matrix signs leading up to the one just after Jct11 read 60 or 50mph due to alleged traffic at Jct10. Then without warning whilst cars are all grouped up under taking and now seemingly speed because the one at Jct10 is now reading 40mph that just so happens to have a camera on. This in itself is going to cause an accident. I know they're there to help stop congestion and allegedly increase safety. The time I'm travelling 8.30pm onwards the signs themselves are causing the congestion and bunching everyone up dangerously at a time recently as sun is setting too. You can tell the amount who spot the speed limit change by just how many times it's flashes people. How is anyone supposed to spot a limit change with so much bunching and under taking with lanes splitting off for the M6 and continuation of the M62? You should be able to see with all the live cameras use have the effects and dangers every evening. Unless use sit there rubbing your hands together at all the speeding fines!

M62 Junction 11, 26th April

Tue, 26 Apr 2022 14:16:58 +0100
53.433622 -2.516643

25/4/22 approx 21:30 hrs I was travelling on the M62 Warrington bound from Manchester. After passing the Birchwood junction 11 junction you can get in lane 1/2 to approach the M6 turn off, where this is, at this date/time lane 1 & 2 were showing red x signs on the matrix signs, lane 3 & 4 were showing as 40mph. I went through the boundary of the camera at 40mph in lane 4 and the camera flashed. I could not see other vehicles within the vicinity in front of me it could of confused me with therefore there must be a fault on the camera. A highways truck was further behind on the carriageway. I was driving vehicle vrm ending RBZ ford fiesta.
