Mud on road .and air pollution caused by traffic entering and leaving kenyon railway junction aggeregate recycling centre, 16th October
Build up of mud on road from opus utilities site. No effort by the company is being made to address this problem . When its wet its mud when its dry its dust.

Large pothole, 13th March
This pothole is big and is very dangerous,I noticed it the other day when the car in front of me hit it,I thought he had lost his front wheel,then then the next time it was full of water and cars hit it not realising how deep it is if someone swerves at last minute or a two wheeled rider hits it it could have dire consequences for them. The hole is situated on the Lowton bound carriageway just after Sandy Brow Lane next to the farmhouse entrance.

Cans (litter) left in no mans land, 4th February
There is a small piece of land that Wigan Council wanted left as a “sight line” when the new houses were built. It is over a very very low wall between the footpath and the garden fence. There are many unsightly cans accumulating. Please could these be removed when Newton Road is cleaned.

Ice on footpath, 4th February
Early this morning when I went to McColls there was a large sheet of ice on the pavement by the traffic light controlled pedestrian crossing. The elderly could slip here. The water is here whenever there has been any rain and it does not drain off the footpath.

Multiple potholes on Mustard Lane/Wigshaw Lane from Lady lane to Glaziers Lane. Some were fixed last year but not all of them? They are many more evident now and getting worse by the week.

Vandalism to my vehicle caused by damage from council property i.e. a sandbag used in roadworks, 19th March
I always park my car in the lay-by across from my house, and over the past 3 weeks, it has been subject to increased amounts of vandalism. For example, 2 weeks ago, someone cracked the wing mirror on the passenger side (which I had to pay to have fixed). Last weekend, my vehicle was damaged on the left hand side with what appeared to be deliberate impact with a sandbag the council were using to weigh down construction signs, and yesterday, once again, someone had actually removed the wing mirror from my car (same side as before), as well as causing damage to several other vehicles along the street,

There is a large old road repair at the traffic lights that has failed and needs seeing to. It is a danger too cyclists and motorcyclist along with any elderly persons crossing would create a dangerous trip hazard for them
