Due to increased HGV & bus traffic along New Lane & Cross Lane, Croft, Warrington, This has led to numerous pot holes and broken road edges of differing sizes. The reason for this traffic, is the road between Croft and Culcheth has been closed for works etc. The traffic is therefore diverted though Croft village. The road is extremely dangerous and needs repairs ASAP. Thank you

Pothole, 27th January
Large pothole approximately 6 inches deep , whole area in front and behind has large potholes . If a motorcycle hits this at speed, it could be fatal

Uneven Surface, 17th July
How long do we need to put up with driving on what can only be described as a roller coaster. I appreciate there’s signs saying uneven surface but for gods sake it’s abysmal. When are you going to address this? It’s been like this for years.

Faulty speed camera, 19th May
Friday 19th May 09:20am (estimate) I was travelling west bound on m62 between junction 11 and 10. The speed limit was lowered to 50 due to a vehicle obstructing the road, on passing junction 11 the vehicle was in the refuge area being assisted by police/traffic/motorway support. As I travelled towards the location of the speed camera the over head gantry speed changed from 50 to national speed limit sign. On accelerating I was probably travelling around high 50s/60ish as I went through the camera and it flashed a number of times even though the sign had just been changed to NSL

Signs displaying incorrect information between M62 Jct 11 and 10 Westbound, 19th December
Overhead smart motorway signs displaying speed limit circles with no numbers inside Then signs signalling traffic to slow to 60mph and 40mph due to ‘queue after junction’ when there is very little traffic on the road, national speed limit back immediately after junction 10

Northbound M1 Junctions 25 - 26 blank gantry signs, 8th November
Travelling north tonight on the M1 between junctions 25 and 26, the smart motorway signs signalled 50 mph speed limit on one gantry, the following gantries were all blank until the gantry around Junction 26 had the return to national speed limit sign showing.

Road and pavement flooding, 2nd November
Drain blocked causing flooding to road and pavement. Pavement becomes impassable and there is no pavement on opposite side of road causing pedestrians into the road which is obviously dangerous!

M62 Junction 11, 26th April
25/4/22 approx 21:30 hrs I was travelling on the M62 Warrington bound from Manchester. After passing the Birchwood junction 11 junction you can get in lane 1/2 to approach the M6 turn off, where this is, at this date/time lane 1 & 2 were showing red x signs on the matrix signs, lane 3 & 4 were showing as 40mph. I went through the boundary of the camera at 40mph in lane 4 and the camera flashed. I could not see other vehicles within the vicinity in front of me it could of confused me with therefore there must be a fault on the camera. A highways truck was further behind on the carriageway. I was driving vehicle vrm ending RBZ ford fiesta.

There's a skip behind the shop and the passage way Is now filled with glass and broken furniture making it dangerous for dog walkers and foot traffic.

Overgrown trees, rubbish tip, 7th March
The car park to The Pack Horse seems to becoming a dumping ground for rubbish, it's untidy, poor lighting and over grown trees especially as you enter the car park and they are over hanging onto the pavement. large pot holes also. It really does bring down this area of Culcheth

Noisy manhole cover in road, 13th December
Every time a car goes over this manhole cover it makes a loud clang which is audible for many houses along the road. This is a nuisance particularly at nightime when families are trying to sleep.

Variable speed camera malfunction, 7th November
Got flashed by camera no other traffic about and doing 70mph on cruise control. No variable speed limit sign illuminated so should have been still national speed limit for mway

Speed limit, 26th October
The temporary 60mph signs have been illuminated for around 2 weeks between M62 Croft and M602 in both directions. No signs of any road works, broken down cars or any other issue. The larger signs have no reason. Speed limit on motorway is 70, smart motorways are not a back door to reducing speed limits.

Malfunctioning Smart Motorway sign, 1st October
Westbound on m62 approximately 0718 on Friday 1st October - sign gantry with speed cameras prior to M6 junction - left to right - sign 1 - black, sign 2 - black, sign 3 - mostly black with less than a quarter of a red ring showing (no number showing), sign 4 - black. I was travelling at less than 70mph when the camera flashed suggested I had been caught exceeding the speed limit - no other signs were were illuminated prior to this.

Barriers - inaccessible for cycling, 22nd April
This road is a marked bridleway, but the full width barrier towards the western end of Silver Lane and lack of dropped kerb means that cycles (and wheelchairs/pushchairs) are unable to easily pass.
