Traffic signals slow, 5th October
The traffic lights near the firestation heading towards the atherleigh bypass seem to be missing letting traffic go and only letting a few cars through at a time where the other set of lights are letting quite a lot of cars through

Noisy manhole cover in road, 13th December
Every time a car goes over this manhole cover it makes a loud clang which is audible for many houses along the road. This is a nuisance particularly at nightime when families are trying to sleep.

Mud on road .and air pollution caused by traffic entering and leaving kenyon railway junction aggeregate recycling centre, 16th October
Build up of mud on road from opus utilities site. No effort by the company is being made to address this problem . When its wet its mud when its dry its dust.

24 inch pothole, 16th October
This pothole appeared over two weeks ago. It has grown significantly larger with the amount of rain. There is now a traffic cone in it to alert drivers to this deep and dangerous pothole.

Faulty Traffic light phasing at peak times, 19th September
The phasing on the lights at the junction of A580 & Atherleigh Way seems to be allowing a large build up of traffic on A580 reducing that road to one lane at around 4pm weekdays. This occurs for traffic driving from the direction of Manchester, and waiting to turn right onto Atherleigh Way towards Leigh Sports Village etc. It can take approx 10 minutes to pass through these lights.

Caravan illegally parked. No lights nothing!, 16th April
My neighbour has had her caravan parked facing our houses now for almost a year. It’s a danger to our children. Not lit up and night and parked so stupidly !

Cans (litter) left in no mans land, 4th February
There is a small piece of land that Wigan Council wanted left as a “sight line” when the new houses were built. It is over a very very low wall between the footpath and the garden fence. There are many unsightly cans accumulating. Please could these be removed when Newton Road is cleaned.
