This is the second time in a week I’ve messaged you about this, the signs have been knocked over and people are coming round the corner at speed. We NEED a new sign showing it’s a narrow (one car) road, this week someone had smashed into my wall again, how long before someone crashes I to the house!! I have two young children and something needs doing about this. It is important and to dismiss this saying it’s not urgent is putting my property at risk

There has been damage inflicted on the Chevron on Cherry Tree Lane. The Council have also requested that a slow sign is installed due to cars constantly knocking wall down in front of cottage as speed to high.

Corner of Chester Road and Cherry Tree Lane, 20th April
The sign showing the bend in the road has been hit many times and now facing the wrong way, in addition we NEED a slow narrow road signed outside Mereside Cottage because people speed around this narrow corner so fast there is going to be a head on collision soon, daily I see cars slamming their brakes on because they are going too fast and their is a car coming the other way. My wall has been hit on numerous occasions, is close to falling down and I am worried about traffic hitting the house, I have two small children and it isn’t fair that we have to live in worry that a car will hit the house.

Westbound road surface is in extremely dangerous condition in Lane 2, 11th April
Has been like this for some time, causes tramlining and vehicles to swerve/ lane hog. Only a matter of time until there is a serious incident. There must be a lot of claims being made for damage to vehicles. Please fix it!

Outside Linden House and Thornbank, 10th April
Potholes are increased massively in size and depth. It is impossible to avod them now when driving and this poses great danger to our cars as well people living alongside the road. The issue has been present since 2017 and was reported multiple times. Since then road has been patched up couple of times but problem returns quite soon every time. Whole road need resurfacing really to make it safe. Please look into this for us. We had a falls and injuries already on the road caused by pothols and uneven surface. Thank you

M56 , before Jct 7, Westbound, 2nd April
Lanes 2 and 3 of the M56 westbound before jct 7 need complete resurfacing. This should have been done before the completion of the smart motorway. Lanes 2 and 3 are covered in potholes especially near the white lines. Will cause damage to vehicles or accidents if not fixed

The roundabout edge has been broken for over four years now, 26th March
The edge of this road has been damaged for over four years . This has been addressed several times and nothing getting repaired. There are many cones placed all around the roundabout which is off putting to drivers. This needs to get resolved. There also needs to be signs added the roundabout once leaving the A556 as many drivers fly up the hill at full speed and miss the roundabout (hence the clipping of the roundabout).

A556 B between points 5.7 and 6.2, 6th March
Pothole still here by Avec Cookers Manchester bound. Third time report, I live in the house opposite and I am frustrated that this area has not been repaired, my house SHAKES when any vehicle hits the pothole, my home has been here for over 110 years and since this road has been damaged my house is starting to show signs of cracks and damage. It is not a patch up job which is needed, this whole road is in a terrible condition. Please can someone look at this and repair/resurface the road, it is not fair for my or my children to be constantly woken throughout the night because our house shakes and bangs as a result of another vehicle going over this pothole.
