Footway siding in, 26th April

Fri, 26 Apr 2024 16:30:42 +0100
53.36607 -2.346582

The footway here is subject to a significant amount of siding in and is now quite dangerous to use. I have attached a video still of a woman pushing a pram - the pram almost overturned as I was passing. The footway should be much wider here, the council needs to significantly cut the hedge back and remove all the soil that has crept across. This is a busy pedestrian footway and a busy carriageway - please deal with this.

Ashley Road between North Lodge & 'I Want Trees', 18th April

Thu, 18 Apr 2024 08:57:29 +0100
53.365003 -2.346528

The kerbs are lower than the road level, cars, tractors and lorries regularly mount the pavement and drive onto the path here where the path is either always flooded and slippery with mud, or like just after Ashley Mill Lane the path is barely a foot wide and lorries miss you by inches because there's no raised kerb protection. As per the photo the paths also need raising 5" because the lowest point will always fill with water. Walking on the road in a 60mph limit is dangerous to pedestrians. THIS NEEDS FIXING BEFORE BRITFEST. These paths are dangerous.

Very deep, large pothole on the first bend to left after leaving Ashley Road heading towards Altrincham Rd/Airport tunnels. This pothole causes drivers to veer onto the other side of the road to avoid it on a blind bend. Someone has marked it with a traffic cone. There is a serious collision risk!

M56 between jctn 6 & 7, 28th March

Thu, 28 Mar 2024 09:12:03 +0000
53.357645 -2.354038

The road surface of lanes 2 & 3 on this completed smart motorway section are dangerous in parts . Proper resurfacing of this stretch never place only in patches. Driving on some of this stretch particularly from jctn 6 to 7 is now becoming dangerous in parts and it will only be a matter of time before a serious accident as a result of Highways failure to resurface properly occurs. Please advise .

Shocking surface on approach to J7 WB, in Lane 3 especially, 19th March

Tue, 19 Mar 2024 09:27:25 +0000
53.357447 -2.353982

This surface desperately needs a throrough resurfacing, it's disgraceful it's been left as is and considered "finished" for so long. Lane 3 on approach to J7 WB is virtually undrivable (yet lane 4 has been resurfaced, it seems to me this has been done for cost-cutting reasons, and lane 3 was deemed acceptable!), especially on the offside, with ruts causing tram lining and potholes the full length, the only way to drive safely is to put the offside tyre pretty much against the white line!

Back lane - Located next to entrance gate for School car park/community park, 26th February

Mon, 26 Feb 2024 09:08:56 +0000
53.354219 -2.336135

Arrived in to Acorns Ashley School for work on Monday Morning and believe rubbish has been fly tipped over the weekend along the road, next to the entrance of the gate for our school park/Ashley parish council land (community park.) Unfortunately our CCTV cameras do not reach that far to see when it was dumped. I have had a look at some of the rubbish that was not in bags and there was food items, car alloys and mesh wiring. Given it being a rural area, I am worried that this rubbish may attract rodents to our school grounds.
