Diesel generator running 24 hours per day placed 20 feet from bus stop, 14th April
There is a diesel/petrol generator on Dsigns forecourt running 24 hours a day. It is positioned only 20 feet away from the bus stop shelter. It fills the shelter with noxious fumes, waiting times for buses can often be 40 or 50 minutes meaning public has to either stand out in the rain or sit in a fume filled shelter. Many elderly use this bus and have no choice but to sit and the only place with seating is the bus shelter. The generator is also very noisy and again we have to wait long time for buses and noise is VERY bad after just a short while. Please get dsigs to move generator away from the public area.

Dropped Kerb length for joint enlarged drive and large puddle near my kerb., 12th January
I share my drive at 32 Parkelands in Bovey Tracey with my neighbour at. No 34. Her drive was enlarged some time ago but the previous owner of my home did not do the same..There is a legal agreement between us that she parks at the entrance of the drive and I park at the top in front of my garage. I have decided to enlarge the entrance to my drive to match my neighbour's drive so that both of us (who are about eighty years old) can park at the beginning of the drive with ease. Our road is used extensively for local free parking and cars frequently park up to where the kerb drops which can make it impossible for me to back out of my drive. Also a large puddle frquently forms at the beginning of my drive as the road has a dip. I would be most grateful if you could come and inspect the situation with a view to correcting the kerb drop and the road dip so that we can both get in and out of our joint drive safely. I am just recovering from my second knee replacement and am driving again..I have other medical problems and I am looking into the possibility of being registered as disabled. Many thanks for considering this. Yours sincerely Dr Sarah Sykes

Cars park on junction and all way down, 10th January
The cars are constantly parked on the bend junction and into the street blocking access to private car park. It hides children who are playing in the street it makes it very dangerous for the cars turning in and out of the road. Twice now it has stopped ambulances being able to enter the road. We have left notes asked people not to park and have posted on our page asking people to be careful with parking but they still do it every day. Sometimes 3 cars in a row. Sometimes on main road junction. Sometimes opposite each other so we can't get through. On the pavements half way out in road. Its all the time across the whole estate now.

Pot holes, blocked drains, mud mounds, 10th January
There are large pot holes all around the area, the road needs resurfacing. This grass verge is creating a nuisance, blocking drains and causing an obstruction. DYL are due to be placed around it but this will not solve the mud which keeps blocking the drains and washing down my driveway because of the placement of a disabled bay Adjacent to it. It is not the bin lorry’s fault at all if they are unable to gain access. I have contacted Teignbridge and the highways and no one wishes to take responsibility. Our local councillor George gribble is supporting with it but as you can see this is a problem which needs rectifying.

Multiple vehicles parking on double yellows, 2nd July
For months every weekday morning multiple cars park on the double yellows outside the Bovey Tracey doctors surgery rather than parking in the doctors car park. They park across the drop curb used by mums taking toddlers to nursery across the road and there have been several near misses with cars and push chairs owing to these vehicles blocking the view and parking on the crossing.

Caravan causing an obstruction there from Jan 2019, 7th May
Caravan has been left on Cavalier road since Jan 2019, first thought to be abandoned but apparently not according to council. It is causing an obstruction for those of us leaving near bye units its difficult to see around it. This is not a residential area it is also taking up space for those working on here. Breaking the Highways act 1980 store it on a site not a road.

The road is collapsing and hole is appearing aging - this has been filled before on anumber of times but the underlying problem , which is probably a collapsed drain as not been sorted the collapsing road now poses a significant problem, 5th August
This is a reoccurring problem due to an underlying failure to address the root cause of the problem and will continue to reoccur until the drain or whatever is happening under the surface is resolved - simply cucking more tarmac in is not going to solve it.
