Flooding in road, 15th February
This section of the road has had standing water for many weeks. This is NOT due to volume of rainfall as other areas drain away whilst this just stands. Suspected blocked road drain or burst water pipe but will need investigation.

Abandoned vehicle, 24th January
This was reported yesterday 23/1. The council came out and put a note on the car. The owner of this vehicle must have returned at some point and has changed the number plates from the ones that didn’t exist on the dvla website to ones that are SORN but this vehicle is still left on the highway!!! Something not quite right here

Overgrown Hedge, 16th January
This hedge is quite overgrown now and sticking out into the road. It is worse than what it looks in photos when travelling in a car along the narrow road. With it being on a corner it’s becoming quite dangerous.

A series of potholes, 1st January
Pictured is only one of the potholes forcing drivers into oncoming traffic on a blind bend. These potholes are on both sides of the road and getting bigger every week. The stretch of road between Mouldex and Broadway is rapidly becoming dangerous. Not only are the potholes creating havoc for the driver, there is also the flooding to contend with. Oncoming traffic is usually in the middle of the road trying to dodge each pothole.

Mud on footpath, 1st January
Whilst I appreciate Chedzoy is a farm village, I don’t think it’s acceptable to have to put up with the amount of mud on the paths/up curbs. Even though I wear wellies to walk the dog, I have slipped over recently and hurt my hip and back. The amount of mud is not acceptable, especially on top of the weeds and moss. Please can we have the path cleared along Front Street. The paths on Higher Road are no where near as bad as Front Street. Worst parts are between Sibley Farm and Cadbury House and again in front of Akaroa and surrounding houses.

Ineffective drains and crumbling roads, 1st January
This part of the road has been deteriorating over the winter. The tarmac around one of the drains has started to create a pothole. Due to the deteriorating roads, both drains are pretty useless and this sharp bend in the road is already a dangerous passing place.
