Human fouling on the Old Bath Road., 23rd April
One of the semi/permenent 10+ vehicle dwellers along this road, is using the hedge row as a permenent toilet. Recently the most overnight vehicles total 12. A lot of them use the hedgerow as a toilet, but not as bad as this individual that left this lot for the council to clean up.

Complete failure of the road surface, 29th March
Hi Somerset Highways, I know this keeps being reported and you keep saying it's not dangerous, but, rest assured, this is dangerous - the way that vehicles enter the central box to turn right is both the reason this condition has occurred and is worsening and the reason that the lip to the edge is so potent in that it is easily capable of detaching a tyre from the rim and/or causing a head on collision. Doubtless you will again ignore this issue but do remember your parlous finances and the context of the wider dreadful condition of roads are not mitigations. Further, should you keep saying you have no money to fix this or that this is somehow an acceptable road condition, we can do without one of you to go out, look, and claim it's not dangerous and then spend that on fixing it. Thanks :)

A small lorry and large van parked on the highway., 23rd February
A small lorry and large van have been parked fully on the highway for some time now, the lorry has no INSURANCE and no TAX, also the lorry has a flat tyre. The lorry has not moved since last year, so the brakes will probably be locked on. The road needs to be kept clear for the emergency M5 access, when use previously the traffic leaving the M5 queued on one side leaving enough room for the emergency vehicles to get back on to the motorway the other lane.

Dangerous traffic lights at Puriton Hill, 25th January
The traffic lights at this junction are unclear and potentially dangerous. Traffic travelling up the hill to the junction (from the motorway) and turning right will see a single green light which many people will assume means that they can safely continue across the junction however traffic approaching the junction from the Glastonbury direction and turning right will also have a green filter light at the same time. In my opinion the traffic lights for traffic coming up the hill from the motorway should include a full set of lights for traffic turning right so that they have a red light, changing to a green filter light when the traffic coming from the Glastonbury direction has a red light. My guess is that locals are familiar with the idiosyncrasies of the phasing of the lights. I do not live in the area but have come close to being driven into when turning right at the junction, coming from the Glastonbury direction.
