ISSUE: Anti-social behaviour and uninsured motor vehicles are our priority as we enter the start of the year. Uninsured vehicles pose a risk to not only other drivers but also members of the public so it is important that we get these off the road. Anti-Social Behaviour can have a significant impact on our communities and we will be utilising all our powers to ensure we tackle this head on for our communities.
ACTION: The beat team focus on tackling youth ASB. We continue to use are anti-social behaviour tools and powers to deal with these individuals effectively. We also work as a multi agency approach to these issues and problems by liaising with the local schools.
We are cracking down on offenders of ASB especially in our hot spot areas

ISSUE: Stopping and disrupting county line drug dealing/running.
ACTION: The neighbourhood policing team are taking proactive steps in dealing with county-line activity. NPT officers have recently been working with our intel colleagues and specialist officers from u2018operation remedyu2019 to tackle drug crime head on; conducting warrants

ISSUE: The beat team are working closely with the violence reduction unit to help reduce violent crime in the local area. Multi agency work is taking place to help tackle this ongoing issue.
ACTION: The neighbourhood policing team work closely with our response colleagues to deal with violent crime and support victims. NPT officers have recently been conducting hi-visibility patrols to tackle knife crime
