Overgrowing vegetation encroaching into the road, 12th October
The vegetation and hedging on this tight corner has grown right into the northbound carriageway. Causing the usable area to be much less than marked. Approximately 4 feet of road is unusable.

Rail water grids full of soil and plants, 28th September
As the parish Councillor responsible I reported these grids full and blocked a month or so ago. I got the standard response to my email and the grids were visited and sprayed in orange. As this road had supposedly been recently drain cleaned I was told these would be looked into. Just checking they haven’t been forgotten or missed somehow.

Vegetation obstructing footway+ defective road sign, 7th August
The footway along the B3227 between Preston Bowyer and Milverton is becoming obstructed by vegetation, so much so that, in several places, it is necessary to step out into the busy road to avoid being scratched or stung. In places the path is also slippery due to moss and rotting vegetation. It is becoming quite dangerous for pedestrians.
While on the subject, the PRESTON BOWYER village sign at the Milverton end of the village is in danger of falling off its posts. It requires re-fixing, please.

Mud hazards when it rains., 14th July
We live along the B3227 road towards Taunton near the Milverton roundabout. Since the bank collapsed on the road side last month, taking trees and mud with it,when it rains we continually have a large amount of mud swept down our drive, making it a hazard to drive along.

Caravan illegally parked, 12th September
There is a caravan that is parked on narrow country road with no lighting on it at night one person had a narrow miss of nearly hitting it and that it and the car it has now been hooked to is taking up valuable parking space for the residents of the area

Surface is poor despite being replaced only last year, 1st January
The bypass was resurfaced in early 2015 but the surface is already breaking up and is awful to drive on. It feels as if you have a flat tyre it rattles so much ....

This road was sprayed and chipped a short while ago and the new surface is breaking away and the road generally is in a terrible condition. it's like driving on a farm track. Please do something about it?

Parking congestion, 16th February
Too many cars and not enough parking. This road regularly becomes impassible to large vehicles (such as fire tenders and agricultural vehicles). Locals are getting fed-up

Repeated dog fouling, 24th September
Uncleared dog poo, on daily bases. Asumed to be happening early in the morning. As this the main road through the village towards the school, lots of little feet walk the pavements, and walk the constant problem to school with them.
