Hazard at junction, 17th July
The hedges around this junction require cutting back to increase visibility. This is just one of a number of issues at this junction such as visibility, speed, signage, road markings, etc. that contribute to making this a hazardous junction. There is a substantial risk that these hazards will contribute to a collision at this junction.
This theory is upheld by the number of accidents that are known to have occurred here, often requiring the intervention of the emergency services.
Please can you take action on this before a family is devastated by the loss of a loved one?

Sign ripped out the ground again, 12th June
This sign was placed back in the ground last week. Its has been hit and ripped out the ground again. I think this may be from cars ascending the hill from Blagdon, as there are no warning signs of the hairpin bend.

Signs bent & ripped out the ground, 17th May
On the hair pin bend leading our of Blagdon Hill going up the hill. Cars are continually caught out on this bend when descending the hill due to the poor signage. Usually they can be reset ans all is well. However this time the supporting pole of one has been bent right over, and another has been ripped out of the ground along with its concrete support. Signs further up the hill are in desperate need of a clean too.

Bad signage on hair pin bend, 28th August
The signs for this bend, warning those descending this part of the hill heading towards Blagdon are wholly inadequate, bent out of alignment, dirty and obstructed by vegetation. I drive down this hill every day on my return home from work and have seen 3 vehicles over recent weeks, which have been caught out on this bend and crashed into the trees. This needs rectifying before someone else is caught out.

Verges overgrown, 15th June
The grass verge on the corner of this junction (by Priors Park Farm), south facing, have been cut slightly, but still unable to safely see if anyone is coming northbound from the Churchinford direction, without pulling all the way into the road to see.
Could the grass get cut further than approx 10m please. Road users coming along the road can see myself, but I cannot see to judge if I can drive across the road toward Holman Clavel. Many thanks.

I have 15 photos of potholes down this lane., 27th May
This lane urgently needs maintenance which has not been done for some time. It serves a farm and two other houses and refuse and other service and emergency vehicles need access at all times. The holes have been getting worse over this winter and heavy rains course down the surface too as thee ditches overflow and the road drains need clearing out.

Scoured edge of road creating hazardous ditch outside our house., 22nd November
The edge of the road outside our house is being rapidly scoured away by short-term temporary fast-flowing streams of water every time there is heacy rain. We now have a fairly deep ditch which has been carved out by the running water, between the verge outside our house and the road. This is creating an ever-increasing trip hazard for anyone entering or leaving our property, as it rund right across the exit from our front ath and driveway.
