Dangerous slip hazard, 16th February
The black areas around the play equipment in the dobree park play area are extremely slippery after wet weather and are very hazardous to walk on. They are especially hazardous for small children who don't always realise the hazard.

Blocked drains/flooded footpath, 12th January
Both drains on either side of the road at Churchfields have been blocked for a considerable time. This has a knock on impact as surface water runs past the drains to the footpath at the 'cut through' to the school (Isambard Kingdom Brunel/IKB) as the road runs downhill and the footpath is the lowest point of the land.
This leads to the footpath flooding (as per the pictures).
There is no drainage on this footpath for the water to run away properly as the surface is tarmac, thus creating a standing water issue which freezes and becomes dangerous.

Flooding, 26th December
Every time there is any rain the road floods here as the drains are completely blocked so the water has no where to go. As seen in the photos the road is completely under water and is several inches deep at the shallowest point. The photos were taken today (26 Dec) at around 1:30pm. It has not rained all day and there was only light rain yesterday. The road has flooded every time it has rained this autumn/winter.

Poorly reinstated footpath, 20th October
Wessex water carried out works here 16th to 18th October and had dug up the footpath. The footpath pavers have been reinstated in an extremely poor manner meaning there is multiple trip hazards

Blocked surface water drain, 19th October
One of two drains at the junction of Pyles Thorne Close and South Street seems to be totally blocked ,causing a build up of rainwater on the pavement and road. In heavy rain it has even lead to localised flooding
