The lane has been washed away by recent floods leaving deep dangerous potholes, 14th January
An increasingly dangerous situation is developing at the very end of the metalled surface of this lane. Vehicles can no longer continue at this point but now bikes, horses also . The flood damage from June 28th 2021 was reported but never repaired, predictably the surface has deteriorated considerably and should be repaired without further delay.

Sign has slipped down on post obstructing viewnorth west on B3167 towards south Chard/ Perry Street. , 15th July
Makes a dangerous junction even more dangerous. I see this has already been reported but problem remains unresolved.
Report on FixMyStreet
Very dangerous road junction, 21st April
This cross road junction with the B3167, Cow Down Road and the unnamed road to Forton with the Alpine Grove camp site on it (known locally as White Gates) is very dangerous.
It suffers from very poor sight in all directions due to a combination of high hedges, the bend in the road, the change in gradient and a road sign that has slipped to a low level that obscures traffic approaching along the B3167 when trying to exit from Cow Down Road. The exit across and turning right from the unnamed road to forton with the alpine Grove camp site on it is the worst and the tall hedge with the post box in it needs cutting back.
There have been numerous serious road accidents on this junction and many nearmisses invovling cyclists from the camp site, milk lorries and locals. Something needs to be urgently done given the high average speed of traffic on the B3167, including large milk lorries driving to and from the dairy at Chard Junction.
