Water running across the road, 8th January
There has been a constant stream of water across the full width of the carriageway, which worsens when there is a lot of rain. This has been problematic before in previous years and has often resulted in a thick layer of ice when temperatures drop. Previously sand bags have been placed at the kerb to diver water away from the road which was successful

Most drains along Nimmer mead are blocked, or broken., 2nd April
We have been here eleven.years, and the drains have always been bad. Because they have been left, they have got much worse and can no longer cope with the amount water that cascades down the road. On one side of the road the drains are completely grown over, and the ones that are visible are blocked with silt. All along Puddleigh, Nimmer Mead and up to Holemore lane the drains are all in disrepair and unfit for purpose. Because of the excess water that hangs about on the roads, we have lots of deep potholes. Some of our friends refuse to drive up here because of the state of the roads. In some places near our property there is 6 inches of debris and silt that is in the middle of the road.

The drain is really blocked for over 1 year and is crucial to ensure non flooding at the bottom of the road (steep downhill). Houses downhill were all flood on 28th June 2021 so essential drains are kept clear - this one has still not been cleared.

The potholes have been here for at least 4 months. They are always filled with water, so it is difficult to see them, but one is a particularly bad hole. The others are a bit more like sections of tarmac washed away by the water.
