Dangerously poor road surface, 29th April
The road surface close to the junction for the Fire Station is in a terrible state, and has been for years. However, it has significantly deteriorated in the past few months .The surface is riddled with deeply pitted areas, the road surface appears to have been worn completely away in some areas and numerous potholes have developed.
If this stretch of road causes damage my car, I shall point to this report as evidence that the council were made aware of how damaged and dangerous this section of the road is.

Speed bump screw loose, plate been removed as unsafe., 18th April
This has previously been reported. The screws in the speed hump just off Wharf lane, outside a school car park have come loose. The section of the hump has now completely come loose and been removed as it was unsafe to drive over.

Large Poyhole, 6th April
Road surface broken up and Pothole. The previous patch has not worked, I have reported this area before within the last 6 to 8 weeks.

Several large/deep potholes have developed., 2nd April
Several potholes have developed (which are starting to merge together) at the edge of the road. There is exposed concrete where the potholes meet the edge of the road which is likely to damage car tyres.
Note: These potholes cannot be avoided due to the width of the road, and the cars parked directly opposite them.

Road condition, 5th March
The condition of the road in Ditton Street Ilminster between its junction with Shudrick Lane and roughly the junction by the Library is greatly in need of inspectipn. The surface is breaking up mainly on the east side, potholes are starting to appear. Repairs have been made ,recently, there is a need for a more permanent solution.

Dangerous road surface and pothole, 28th January
Various potholes and general shocking road surface making motorbikes veer of course, even though this road was resurfaced recently it was such a poor rush job its already not fit for purpose, shocking waste of money. Needs urgent attention as does the rest of this busy road.

Overgrown hedge between the Riec Sur Belon Way sign and the Stonemasons Pub foot trafic is forced to use the cycle section of the pavement. May be only 5 meters length.

The path from Ilminster town centre to site (ta19 0pf) is overgrown, 7th December
The path which is used by alot of people is overgrown and as such only 1/3 of the path is left to walk on. Often you have to walk in the road which is dangerous as cars speed along the road. Its really dangerous.
