Deteriorating surface at Market house roundabout, 27th April
The cobbles at the market house roundabout are in a state of disrepair. This roundabout was already difficult to navigate as a cyclist due to poor road markings and uneven surface but now it is very dangerous due to deterioration in the surface. It is hard to maintain a predictable course around the roundabout, and I cannot signal my intentions as it is too dangerous to take one hand off the handle bars on the uneven surface. Luckily I have wide tyres, but bikes with narrow tyres will find the conditions especially difficult.

Dangerous surface for cyclists on the Markethouse roundabout, 27th April
This roundabout hasn't been properly maintained since it was built in 1996. There are big gaps between the cobbles that act like tramrails. Should my wheel get caught in one of them, I could have a nasty fall. I am also afraid my bike can get damaged, because of the bumpy ride. I therefore ride very slowly and because I am concentrating on the surface I am riding on, it is hard to also look around me to find out where the other road users are. I have to grip my handlebar very tightly to be able to steer and I can't take my hand off to indicate when turning left. Cycling on this surface is even more dangerous when it's wet. There have been several accidents. It is a matter of when, not if, someone will get seriously injured.

Excessive leaves on kerb and pavement, 5th April
All the kerbs in the street are full of rotting leaves. It is very mucky to get into car. Footpath full of leaves from trees from the Green up the road. Please could road and paths be manually swept as often cars parked and it is a narrow dead end street and unsuitable for a mechanical road sweeper.

Pothole on inside lane M5 between wellington and Taunton north bound mile marker 210.2. Noted it yesterday but driven past this morning and its got bigger noted by gravel spillage on the hard shoulder. The volume of traffic and adverse weather the problem is only going get worse..

Lots of very big, very deep potholes hidden by standing water!, 28th March
These pot holes have been here for an extremely long time, we have been driving down this road 5 days a week for a good year and I would say they have been there and just getting worse over that time. Most of them are hidden underneath the standing water that never really seems to go. Unfortunately yesterday morning our car tyre got damaged by one.

Blocked gullys and pot holes, 28th March
The road gullys outside county hall are blocked and there is a large puddle outside B block. The passing cars are soaking pedestrians. The road surface at the junction with Crescent Way and outside Exchange House is in poor condition and displays numerous pot holes. Some of the pot holes are of a size that could dismount a cyclist or trip a pedestrian.
