Giant depression/ Pothole on M4 westbound just before M4 A 113.5 near Baydon, 30th November
This giant depression on the left lane of M4 westbound just beofre M4 A 113.5 near Baydon still exist and I have been caught by it twice now already. It will not only cause damage to vehicles but also a possible cause for accidents. Specially lorries will be on this lane and this giant depression on road causes the vehile to swere around if you are not careful and unknown about the depression on the road specially at night. Please fix this issue. This issue has been flagged and it was on highways forum a year ago and highways reply was they are not going to fix it as it is not pothole but a depression on the raod. This is unacceptable reason for not fixing the issue. Why is this not fixed even after a year and we pay road tax for nothing?

Potholes, 24th September
There is a large pothole in lane 1, closest to the hard shoulder at 6.3 miles from the junction 15 exit westbound. There is a further pothole at 3.3 miles, and two more within seconds after passing, from the junction 15 westbound. These have been a problem for months, possibly years, and that first one really hits hard every time. Locals have learned to get as close to the line as possible or move to lane 2 for both locations. When it’s dark, they really sneak up on you sometimes. Much less significant road damage has been fixed in recent times but these two locations always seem to be left. Regular users of that stretch of the M4 really would be thankful to have these areas of road damage fixed. Thanks in advance

Very large pothole, 7th September
This is in the 'slow' westbound lane approximately as marked on the map. it is approximately directly north of Ramsbury and possibly half a mile to the east of where I have marked. My son did a map snapshot of where we were within a minute of banging into the pothole. The M4 'slow' lane further West of the large pothole is not good, but nothing like as bad as the pothole indicated.

Large pothole in lane 1, 14th May
There is a large pothole in lane that hits the nearside wheels of vehicles when using lane one. It has been there a while now. It creates quite a 'bang' when you drive over it. Regular travellers seem to have learnt to move to the offside of the lane one.

Dangerous sunken drain. On side towards Baydon, 10th December
Reported to council weeks ago. No response. The drain is getting deeper making the hole getting sharper. A few years ago this happened it took weeks of me reporting it and a lady got a flat and damaged her wheel before it was fixed. Now same again.

Flooding, 28th January
I got very soggy socks walking my son to school today! ?? there are a couple of drains here and just a few weeks ago I think we had a vehicle come and sweep the road to clear the build up of mud from the road. I'm the process, I think all the sludge has gone into the drains and they're now blocked and the water can't drain anywhere. This is the first night of heavy rain since I saw the road sweeper. Its dropped by about an inch, between dropping off and picking up my son around 6 hours but still 4 inches deep at the lowest point skirting around the edge of the road.

On Manor lane there is a drain outside the Village Hall ( BYPA Hall ) right at the foot of the slope driveway to village hall. Village hall side of road. Needs cleaning out but very silted up.

Blocked & sunked drain, 3rd January
Drain on verge of main roadway ( Baydon Road) just outside driveway of ( May House ) house LHS next to 15 Fiveways Close :
Drain & tarmac surrounding has sunked 2-3 inches minimum, tarmac cracked, and drain has blocked. It would have been approx 2-3 years ago drain was repaired and cleaned out. Water goes past this and feeds into Fiveways Cul de sac drain. This could cause accident with cyclists whom frequently cycle past.
Think it needs marking up, digging out spoil and cleaning out drain ( Suck !) and re lay tarmac concrete to re set in position.
