Damaged street sign, 29th April
A vehicle has struck the only sign to my close in the past week (Hicks Close, SN77NQ). I tried to fix it today but it is impossible to bend the metal back by hand.

Road surface has completely btoken up round bend between Fernham and Shellingford, 29th April
The road surface has broken up for a stretch between Shillingford and Fernham. Cars need to go onto wrong side of road to avoid damage which is very dangerous particularly when A420 traffic is diverted down B4508. The council will be liable for any accidents as this has been reported previously

Pavement damaged by gas contractor Wales and West, 26th April
Wales and West have recently completed gas works in the Pines, Faringdon. They have left the pavement area at the end of the cul de sac in a very poor state. This area was used by the contractor as a spoil storage area and the surface of the pavement and road has been damaged by their grab trucks. I would hope that this issue has already been picked up by OCC as a defects correction issue under their contract. It cannot be right that private contractors are allowed to damage pavements like this especially when public money for street repairs is so limited.

Three lights in the vicinity of my house are not working. I) as shown on map - on Pye Street outside number 2, which is end of terrace bungalow , side onto the road. Street light on school crossing is not working, 22nd April
The street light on the school crossing was not functioning last night (Sunday 21 April 2024) and neither were the two next streetlights towards the top of Lechlade Road. The lane by the back of Faringdon Junior School where I live was pitch black, and therefore quite dangerous and very unnerving.

There are more than enough potholes in this area for many more people to claim one!

Large pothole on Coxwell street near Nichol court turning, 21st April
