The pot hole goes the whole width of the street. You have already investigated this pothole and told me you were going to fix it(ref:ENQ24995470) . However you have closed the report. Can you please confirm you are going to fix it? Also can you please drive over the other two big ditches in the road because Majors road is a joke and are worse than the one you said you will fix? May I also ask who governs you? Who do I go to if I do not agree with your findings?

Trees are not being maintained, 4th April

Thu, 04 Apr 2024 14:14:06 +0100
51.599124 -1.652702

Please can you advise whether the County Council has plans to pollard the trees in Shrivenham High Street this winter. It has been a number of years since this was last done and the lack of maintenance causes two issues. • The trees are lime trees and for four months in the summer they drop a sticky sap onto cars parked there, and thus attracting wasps. Sometimes there can be 40/50 wasps on our car which is a health hazard getting in and out. • The trees are now blocking the street lights, and whilst two years ago, they simply trimmed around the street light so that the road had some form of illumination, it did nothing for the pavements. The condition of the pavements (trips, etc) and no lights means this is another hazard. I know there are many priorities for council funds (my taxes), but this is becoming increasingly urgent. In the event that the Council cannot maintain the trees properly, I volunteer myself to trim two trees outside my house and dispose of the cuttings.
