Report on FixMyStreet
A stretch of New Road where the tarmac has become so hazardous for driving that most drivers avoid by driving on other side of the road into oncoming traffic. This is a danger. The solution would be to resurface approx 100m of New Road, 4th March
As described the tarmac has failed, been repeatedly patch-filled over the previous months/years and results in a unsafe road surface, which leads to damage to vehicles - consequently more & more traffic now drives on the other side of the road to avoid damaging their car tires - driving into on-coming traffic. This is dangerous in itself. Approx 100m of the road surface needs to be retarmac’d

Damage to protected Oak tree and residential property, 24th September
Please can a no ball sign be installed at the green square at Crofton Road. The green square at Crofton Road has been created as part of the development of Badbury Park due to a protected Oak tree which is situated here and there are wild flowers planted. Children are playing with footballs on the green square and kicking them hard and high with no regard for where the ball will land. The balls either end up hitting the residents houses, cars or plants in their front gardens. The children run across the residents gardens to retrieve the balls again not considering what they are doing. The balls are kicked so high they get caught in the branches of the protected Oak tree. They then use further footballs to kick at the tree to try and retrieve the balls. This causes branches to break from the tree causing damage. An additional concern is that roads surround the square and cars come round the corner quickly and the children are often running across the road retrieving their balls. There are designated playgrounds and football pitches within Badbury Park which have been purposely built within the development. Please would you give considerations for A No Ball Games sign to be displayed in this area. To ensure that the Oak tree and residence property suffers no further damage.

Nuisance due to constant Ball Kicking upon House Windows and Car WindScreens, 17th September
This small area is misused by number of Children who thinks this is a football pitch. When they play football every couple of minutes ball hits the Glass Window or near by house or Cars Parked.
There are around 10 houses surrounded by this area and their well being has been massively affected.
4 Year Old Girl so frightened that she is now not coming out of the door when these kids are playing football.
The residents living here have young children, cat, dogs, Retired aged people who are unable to sit near window as ball could hit anytime on the window.
Talking to the parents seems making problem worse as that provokes children and they create more problems by kicking balls.
In addition, constant screaming while they play is unbearable.
Please note, there are two dedicated areas within badbury park estate where ball games be played and those are very near by. Still these children causes nuisance every day.
Appreciate if "No Ball Games" sign can be erected here.
