Double manholes that are sunken, 18th April
I drove over these on Monday 15th April at approx 15:00 in the direction of Swindon. There was an almighty bang. There was then a loud rattling noise whenever I went over an uneven bit of road or pothole. I had to continue slowly to the Great Western hospital as my wife had an important appointment to make. The car had now developed a loud boing noise when turning. After looking underneath my car to see if I could see anything (I could not) I phoned a couple of garages in Swindon to see if they could take a look at my car as I did not want to drive it home. Unfortunately no availability until Wednesday or Thursday. I drove it home to Faringdon taking slower roads where possible. I called in to a local garage and the earliest they could fit my car in was Thursday. I have just been told by the garage that the damage was caused by a pothole (or other road defect) and that the drivers front spring and mount had been damaged.

Wood hanging from the bridge, 7th April
There is a piece of wood hanging in netting underneath the bridge of the a419 on the A420 lane 3 going from Oxford Road towards Oxford. If it falls out, it will cause damage or injury

Bad parking, 27th March
A fiat 500 has been parked half on the pavement for approx 1-2 weeks, it’s right next to a corner/bend so creates issues when coming round if you meet a car.
There is sufficient parking space on the square approx 10metres away

Draning cover dropped, 1st January
Drain cover/ pothole exposed again been fixed twice before only lasts a few months. The drain cover has sunk 2 to 4 inches and once filled with rain water you can't see it until you hit it ..

Sunken drain cover , was damaged laat year and semi repaired and now sunk down 6 inches , can cause a serious accident for motorbikes as once filled in with rain water you cant see it, 2nd November

Excess water, 19th October
Water flowing across the lanes and is causing issues driving. I experienced severe aquaplaning which panicked me and has also caused pain in my hand and wrist. The water not draining has happened a lot since the road was resurfaced and when it rains.

Pulling out of Canal Cottage really dangerous on this busy road as the grass is now so high and hedges growing towards road that the view is obscured. Grass cutting long overdue, it’s in a shocking state and dangerous for residents,

Suspect automobile business parking cars and vans, 26th April
A large number of Cars and vans are parked dangerously at junctions. Seems to be the result of business being conducted by a house on the corner (at the marker). Makes it very difficult to travel, especially if cars are coming the other way. Difficult to see people crossing the road also.

Be aware of pedestrians sign, 2nd February
I have rescued this sign on a number of occasions but there are some people seem to use it as a target for vandalism- please reinstate as so many young and elderly people use this route to access the only bus service available for South Marston at Sainsbury’s. Many thanks

Huge defects along this stretch of road, 15th January
From the corner to st julian's there are huge pot holes on the sides and down the centre of Thornhill road. It's horrific.
