This lovely Grade 1 Historic England chapel is suffering from the weight of traffic and speed on this B 3109 road. The ridge has been fixed twice in recent years and the stone work either side of the main door is eroding away. We would appreciate a visit from you to discuss the problem, 18th September
I am a member of the PCC of Box parish and am the warden of this little Chapel and I live near by. This Chapel is 13th century and is used for Sunday services. As you can see from the photos it is very near the road.

Signs up warning of flood, but no action to correct. Road only passable by 4x4 or large farm machinery. Depth 1.5 ft, probably worse after heavy rain.

Road Floods, 7th November
During heavy rain road floods here by way of puddles on either side getting bigger and bigger until road is flooded. Traffic normally can continue single file through centre of flood in effect straddling each lane There is, however, a real danger of traffic coming out of Atworth being blind to the problem because of the prior bend and either hitting water at wrong speed of traffic which is waiting its turn to go through the water. Seems like culverts and ditches need clearing, digging out and opening up. Happy to meet someone to explain / show problem

On the B3109 on the south lane just approaching the 5 Ways traffic lights there is a large pothole that could easily unseat a cyclist or scooter rider. It is on the near side of the car as you approach the traffic lights at 5 Ways.

Water running OUT of rainwater drain every time we have heavy rain., 18th October
This water then forms a stream which runs down Church Rise for several hundred metres. If it freezes this will be lethal. Please address urgently before the weather turns cold.

Brambles overgrowing footpath, 9th September
Brambles are overhanging this narrow footpath, restricting the width of the path. Close to a school this is a heavily used path, especially by parents with prams and buggies, for whom the path is now not wide enough. Please trim back the brambles to the wall.

Brambles, 24th September
On right hand side after entering Nursery Close bambles etc overgrown into road area. local resident[s] have cleared some but it needs very serious haircut! Danger to pedestrains on that side of road and vehicles have to pull further into middle of road or risk being scratched
