2 pots holes side by side (east bound) - one just off the centre of the and the other in the gutter. Both around 100 - 150mm depth and around 200-400mm wide. These CANNOT be avoided only by going onto the opposite side of the road. These have the potential to cause damage or a collision.

Only footpath between casle inn and old railway bridge, 7th March
As you can see the footpath is impossible to navigate with a pram or wheelchair and you are forced onto the highway. This is very dangerous indeed, in fact whilst walking with or without a dog you are forced over to the curb edge with oncoming traffic at 40 m.p.h. this has always been the case but has been exaggerated by a tractor hedge cutting and squashing the soil at the side. Your swift action to remedy this situation would be greatly appreciated.

Congleton Edge Road, approx 100 metres past Hollybush Farm, where Highways are aware of blocked ditch forcing water across road, 17th February
Pothole 0.5m square and c10cms deep. And situated at very narrow and considered at risk part of highway ( Cheshire East highways aware and visited recently) the pothole is impossible to miss and hence requires urgent attention.

Pothole is approx 0.5metre long/wide and c10cms deep. It is difficult to see when driving as just over the brow of the hill and only 25 metres from the Council known “pinch point” where water crossing/ eroding road where Council Highways visited only Monday this week.

Grit Bin 20mtrs past Copper Hill, Congleton Edge Road, 1st February
Further to you negative response to report No. 3460768 l would like to remind you of your statutory duty to protect the public. The grit bin at this location has been empty for a number of months and requires refilling. During the last snowfall we had no grit to use on this very dangerous stretch of hill on Congleton Edge Road. Add to that the potential death trap 100 mtrs further up where the road is continually flooded by the overflowing council gulley which continues to be ignored by your highway department maintenance team and we have a recipe for disaster. Please allow us to at least help ourselves by replenishing the grit that we depend on. Thank you
