FIXMYSTREET IN ST7 2SS
The following problems have been reported on Fix My Street within 2 miles of ST7 2SS:
Entire road needs re surfacing not patching, 27th April
Hundreds of server large and dangerous potholes, many inter connected. The entire road needs resurfacing. Patches will not fix the issue. Potholes are large and deep and have the potential to break car wheels. Dangerous to cyclists and if they hit them potential to send them flying and kill them. You need a moon Rover to drive down Bedford grove. Whilst resurfacing, a section of Pilemere Road near to the junction with Bedford Grove needs resurfacing. The entire top of the road surface has disappeared. There are other sections down Pikemere that need full resurfacing not just potholes being fixed.

Cones, 24th April
Somebody has put large cones out that have been there for over one week plus which they have put down the road just round the corner on a blind bend on the double yellow lines to obviously stop school traffic parking there but you now can’t fit the cars past now and it was already a dangerous corner. These are opposite the infant entrance of cranberry academy. I completely understand someone doing this but I have already had an accident there.

On Station Road, past turning for Milton nursing home if on your right, is a speed hump with a damaged/sunken grid, the high volume of traffic and narrow road means cars drive over the speed hump in the gutter, heavy vibrations/noise travel from the sunken grid. Grid needs re-setting in the gutter.

On open space behind no 20 Swettenham Close, Alsager, 19th April
For the second time in a week a considerable amount of waste has been tipped at the rear of no 20 Swettenham Close. A few days ago the Council collected some double-glazed panels from this area. Now someone has tipped a load of plastic guttering and two large glass panels such as you might find on a conservatory. This is a perennial problem. There have been a number of occasions when large amounts of waste have been tipped at this spot and the Council has had to clear it up. I suggest it should be investigated so that the irresponsible individuals are brought to book.
