Row of Potholes, 26th January
The previously reported potholes beneath the bridge at the Way for the Millennium and close to the junction with the A518, have not been filled and now a line of about 6 potholes has developed between the bridge and the position shown which are perpetually filled with water. Close to the A518 tractors have been using the road as a platform to load large bales on to trailers from the adjacent field, forming deep holes at the road edge on both sides. This road is the only pedestrian access to the Bus Stops on the A518 and its condition is a disgrace.

Likely to cause tyre damage and hazardous to motorcyclists. Worst potholes are along stretch of road between coley mill and railway bridge at Outwoods.

Footpath blocked by deep floodwater, 2nd November
The footpath at the location shown is close to a stile at the junction of two hedgelines and on the east side, for over 6 weeks accumulated surface water from the polytunnels has become so deep the stile cannot be reached. In addition the area has become a storage area for rolls of plastic sheeting, a large container of rotting fruit and irrigation pipes laid across the footpath

Dangerous potholes perpetually filled with water at passing places, 2nd November
Along Wilbrighton Road there are few places where it is wide enough to pass oncoming traffic, pedestrians or cyclists. At each of these places the length of the bay/access is not sufficient and deep holes form on the approach and exit which fill with water. These have been reported before but no effective action taken, probably because the holes are filled with water and the white spray cannot be applied. The holes close to the A518 junction are particularly severe

Dangerous pothole beneath overbridge, 2nd November

Road subsidence and emerging water, 6th February
Over a distance of about 100m alongside Manor Farm the west side of Wilbrighton Lane has subsided or disintegrated, with water issuing from the damaged road surface and beyond, flowing and freezing to form a continuous ice sheet across the T junction and Gnosall Road. This is highly dangerous, it has been a recurrent problem for months that has been reported but not effectively dealt with.

Damaged retaining wall, 6th February
The wire gabions forming the retaining wall on the southern approach to the bridge carrying the Way for the Millennium over Wilbrighton Lane have been ripped open over a distance of about 6m, allowing the severed wires to project and the rockfill to fall out. This has happened before and appears to be the result of damage by farm equipment.
