We are moving STGO with a movement order and have been diverted onto A34 to avoid this area, two vehicles one at 120t one at 100T can you confirm if there is any weight restrictions on this area of the M6 motorway that will not allow these vehicles to use it, its then I can go back to the route planners and get it updated.

Electronic signage not synced with cameras, 14th January
Traffic cameras just before M6 B 216.5
Electronic signs just changed from 60 to national speed limit ahead of me. A whole row of cars got flashed as they accelerate up to 70. Resulted in the next row of cars sharply breaking and an incredibly dangerous situation on the road.
Resolve this or get rid of the cameras please.

The same pothole I reported a month ago has not been repaired properly., 28th December
The same pothole that was repaired is now as bad as before. Its a hazard to cars. its quite deep several inches enough to damage a suspension if hit at the wrong angle. The repare was not carried out properly. Immediatley after it was done I could still see there was a 1/2 inch dip it. Now its several inches deep. Also a repair that was carried out just south of Juntion 11 lane 1 near to the emergency zone has started to dip again. this has lasted 1 year. Why can't your road crews fix the roads properly?

M6 North, Lane 1. right hand side, between j12 and 13. Just before the 1/2 mile safe zone sign. Very bad pothole worse over the past week. Bad enough to damage your suspension.

Very sharp angular pothole, 14th March
On the left hand side of mill lane driving towards Stafford there is 1 large pot hole with very sharp angles at least 70mm deep joining up to metal grid making it dangerously damaging to vehicles if hit

Cameras flashing, but no speed limit is displayed on the maxtix sign., 4th November
I’m not 100% sure on the exact location, but I believe I may have been flashed whilst driving within the national speed limit. There was no variable speed limit displayed but the camera was flashing. It happened at around 8pm on the 4th November. There was a sign saying ‘report of obstruction’ but no reduced speed limit displayed. It was somewhere on the stretch southbound after Stafford. I hope I haven’t got a ticket when I know I was within the limit.

Matrix speed restriction signs on entry show incorrect speed limit, 6th July
The main M6 carriageway is restricted to 60mph, but the entry slip road signs incorrectly show a 50 mph restriction. The entry slip is quite short, so joining at a slower speed can make it more difficult to join.

VMS signs are set incorrect, 10th March
The end of roadworks area is signified by a 70mph fixed speed limit sign and this is also displayed on the VMS just past J13. However for a week or so now, the VMS gantries past this (around 3 sets) have displayed 60mph which is the 'test speed' for the new smart motorway section. The first gantry after the NSL has a speed camera too which doesn't help. The signs need correcting to end at J13 and not continue after one NSL sign,

Evergreen tree's branches need cutting back as overhanging public footpath, 23rd February
Contractors have been out previously but branches not cut satisfactorily and branches have since grown back quickly. Annual spring storms of increasing strength are adding to concerns about the tree and safety for residents at No5 Cooks Bank, which is 12metres from the tree. House was built in 1976 before existing tree was planted (roughly 2002 to replace original walnut tree).

Arrows pointing in the wrong direction on overhead gantry, 8th July
The arrows on the overhead gantry are all pointing to the wrong direction before the roadworks. It is telling everyone to filter to one lane, then 500 yards later that lane is closed. This is to be changed before a serious accident occurs

Litter all underneath M6 junction 13, at roundabout, also verges leading off along A 449 up to Acton Gate ; then A 449 verges in opposite direction towards Dunston. There is a fast food outlet opened today, which can only contribute to this problem.

Stock proof fencing in disrepair, 25th February
The stock proof fencing alongside the motorway from the culvert passing under the motorway alongside 3 adjoining fields here is falling over and is no longer adequate to serve its purpose to prevent livestock straying onto the carriageway. Please repair before the grazing season commences in April.
