Street potholes Filthy streets with Appalling dirt and weeds on pavements and in street guttering!!, 14th February
My street is frankly filthy full or dirt in the gutters and prolific weed growth in the road gutter and the paths both in my street and more serious in Friars Walk…..I cannot believe that it takes complaints with the little hope that something will be done!! There are also potholes!!! This has gone on for a long time which to me makes me certain that the council mantra of no money is just a wishy washy automatic vacuous response. Every one in my house hold who can and will vote in the next local election and the general election are already review our options but already we are seriously thinking of not voting for Conservatives. I do wonder where all the money paid in council tax has gone? Too much councillors expenses claims I ask myself repeatedly! I am now going to start a blog to highlight this filthy situation to the wider Stafford public!

Isobel Trail, 7th November
Had anyone walked along the Isobel Trail lately. It's a disgrace. The rubbish everywhere is disgusting. Dog bags hanging from trees too. I don't think it's every cleaned up anymore. If this were in Brocton there would be an outcry but the north end just gets missed.

Newly Planted Trees, 15th November
New trees were planted towards the end of last week into the park land between Sandyford Road and Corporation Street. On Sunday morning I found many of the trees had been pulled out of the ground along with their support sticks and plastic protectors. I managed to re-plant some but others are damaged beyond repair and the plastic covers are also damaged. It may be worth a look over from the grounds team.
