Road surface - wrong camber, 23rd May
There are two drains in this turning circle, but they are both too near to the centre of the road itself - the water pools to the left hand side of both drains and onto the pavement (where the kerb is dropped) - the water has to be swept physically into the drains!

Drain / Culvert blocked, 23rd May
This drain is always blocked - we have dug it out by hand a couple of times, but it looks as though the culvert / pipe under the lane must also be blocked, as it blocks up after just 1 day's rain...
The water then lies across the lane, causing a hazard.
For some reason, the water misses the drain on the opposite side of the road by inches!

Drain blocked?, 28th May
This drain is pretty much at the brow of the rise in the road, and yet even when it's not raining the water level is only about 1 foot down (whereas drains downhill are much lower).
With the rain since yesterday evening, this drain is now overflowing - so there seems to be an issue either at the drain or pipework leading from it.

Excessive Speeding Problem, 30th July
On Stallington Road, where the speed limit changes from the national speed limit to 30 mph close the the Stallington Village development there is an extremely serious speeding problem. I do not live here, but both my brother and sister live on Cavell Court and in the 4 years that they have lived there the problem has escalated. The have been in excess of 15 pets killed on this road by people that do not seem to adhere to the speed limit in the last 18 months, there has been one serious accident where a speeding motorist collided with a car turning out of Franklin Drive. I myself have had motorists flashing for me to move out of the way when I have slowed down for the speed limit and to turn right into Cavell Court.
Having spoken to quite a number of the residents this seems to be a prolific problem in the area. The speed limit in the area is set to 30, which is a sensible safe speed for the road, its conditions and the surrounding housing.
Is there anything that can be done to help this speeding situation? I am concerned that one day it maybe a child that gets hurt as there are a number of young families that live in the area now.
