There is a pot hole in the road here. It has been inadequately repaired twice now and has lasted less than 6 months. There are also two further developing holes about 100m south of this problem

Warrilow Brook is often used for fly tipping - rubbish has been reported to me again but I have no details as to quantity and type.

B5032 at Hansley Cross, near Alton., 26th August
Large hole developed in carriage way over past three weeks adjacent to field gate opposite "driveway" to Hansley Cross bungalow. Problem now severe causing traffic to swerve to avoid. Area approx 0.5 sq.mts and at least 150mm deep on wheel track line.

B5032 Alton beyond junction with Battlesteads, 26th August
Large hole developed over past three months just around a bend and in wheel track travelling West approx.50mts. beyond junction at Battlesteads, Alton.
This is now extremely dangerous as vehicles are forced to drive into the path of on-coming traffic to avoid the hole which is now at least 200mm deep over an area of about 1sq.mt.

Back Lane Severely potholed, 22nd May
Back lane is severely potholed along the entire length of the road. It has reached the stage where it causes physical discomfort - even at a snail's pace. Would you please kindly resurface the road as a matter of priority.

Streetlight not working, 22nd May
Dear street lighting team,
Would you please kindly replace the bulb in the street light numbered '9' opposite Castle Hill House on Castle Hill Road.
If possible we would prefer a white bulb rather than orange.

Sunken manhole and road surface at Shirley Drive, Alton, 26th April
A manhole cover and road surface around it have sunken significantly near the junction of Shirley Drive and the main Road to Denstone at Tythe Barn

Deep pothole as you drive round the corner in Farley, requiring cars to swerve to avoid this.

Road in very poor state of repair, 31st May
A large part of this road (Red Road)from the junction at the Alton end all the way to Oakamoor is in a very bad state of repair with the rough substructure of the road showing through

Stormwater gulleys blocked, 31st May
On this stretch of road a number of the stormwater gulleys(large grids) are full to the top with debris, and have been for several years now, meaning rainwater runs large distances along the road causing problems particularly at the Battlesteads junction

Loose water lid, 21st May
New Road,Alton. Due to heavy traffic use on this road, a Water Authority Lid, has become noisy when traffic run over the cover, possibly loose strucure.
