Northbound traffic light sensor appears defective, 26th January

Mon, 26 Jan 2015 10:17:07 +0000
53.0255029488377 -2.06536399957272

It appears that northbound traffic is not detected - when there is no southbound traffic, the lights immediately turn red. Every morning this year, there's been a 1 mile queue northbound leading up to the traffic lights. This morning when I eventually made it through the junction after 20 mins, there was no eastbound traffic, and two cars waiting westbound.

Ditch Drainage Channels, 22nd January

Sun, 22 Jan 2012 18:26:28 +0000
53.019997540979 -2.0481751342612

Vitually all the Ditch Drainage Channels are overgrown & Blocked, This is causing excessive surface water which can stretch the whole width of the road in places ! Making driving very Dangerous especially at night & with Motorists trying to avoid the deep water by crossing into the opposite side of the road into your lane !! A man & a Shovel could clear these in a couple of hours ! The locations of these are listed below, The picture attached took 3 days to draw back to this level & was originally covering 3/4 of the road, I have poked at this with a stick to make it better ! I only wish i had taken a picture when it was a lake ! but it was Dark ... Locations. All along the left as you turn off the A52 to Dilhorne on Whitehurst Lane. Bottom of Godley Brook Lane at the junction of Gadley Barn Lane & Whitehurst Lane (Just before Bridge) The Common (Boundry Rd) as you Turn left at the Royal Oak Pub & head towards the A521. All the way across the COmmon as you pass the Bus stop on your right & a couple on the left, Easily identifiable by the silt oin the side of the road. Thanks

Dog mess on the pavement, 17th December

Fri, 17 Dec 2010 20:26:30 +0000
53.0269556862694 -2.06694815184404

Today I found that a dog had fouled on the pavement outside my house. This is at least the tenth time that this has happened since I moved into the house in 2006. I would now like to make the council aware of this issue and have noticed dog mess on numerous occassions at other locations in my street. There is a thoroughfare at the end of the street which leads to Wetley Avenue and then the main road. This is used by dog walkers and though the majority clean up after their animal, the minority do not. This is a disgusting situation and I would suggest that the thoroughfare is closed to discourage dog walkers using my street.
