On the M1 northbound (can’t remember exactly where but approx 1m or 2/3m from Junction 9), one of the electronic signs didn’t display the 40mph limit as I drove past after an accident earlier.

Pavement unusable and dangerous, 20th November
There are numerous pieces of disused road signs which have been left for months. These have sharp metallic parts completely across the footway. The hedges are also overgrown such that the footway can go longer be seen forcing pedestrians onto the busy dual carriageway at junction 9 of the m1. This is incredibly dangerous and needs sorting immediately before a serious accident occurs. There is no other footway between the villages

Road furniture in path and bushes overgrown, 20th November
The pathway from the lorry station until the m1 bridge is completely unusable. I use this as the only route between Flamstead and redbourn for my commute and am being forced onto the dual carriageway in the dark on a daily basis. This is incredibly dangerous and will likely lead to a serious accident. There is no other path option. There are metal spikes from disused road signs across the path on multiple occasions and the overgrown bushes have meant the path doesn't exist for about 200m. This needs sorting immediately before someone is run over at a motorway junction!

Dangerous path for to unused road signs, 20th November
There are at least 8 unused roads signs blocking this path with metal sticking out dangerously. This makes it very dangerous to use and could easily cause serious injury, especially in low light. The path is unusable also due to overgrown foliage forcing pedestrians onto the incredibly busy dual carriageway at an m1 junction. Please sort this asap before someone is seriously hurt or worse.

Heavy traffic because of unmanaged Truck Stop, 7th November
Good morning,
The Watling Street Truck Stop needs to have a better management as it creates during rush hour imense traffic queues disrupting local residents with delays up to 1h. It’s unacceptable to get 1 hour delays just to get from Dunstable to M1 in order to access London, making the journey well over 1h 30 mins, DAILY!
If the management cannot be contacted then you should restrict access outside rush hours.
I will forward a petition to St Albans council to permanently close this facility
Best regards, Razvan Valcoci
