L271 avl - this van has been parked on the road for 6 plus weeks it has no tax or mot and shows signs that its is off road due to its poor mechanical state. there are residential houses that it could be parked on the driveway if it belonged to a highfield road resident. due to the location of the road i think it has been left here as it is unlikely to be noticed by authorities

Road markings along roadside, 18th April

Thu, 18 Apr 2024 13:57:35 +0100
51.572496 -0.69864

White Roadside markings are needed between the junction of Hedsor Road and Harvest Hill/Heavens Lea. The speed goes straight from a 60mph limit to a 30mph limit, there’s a blind corner, the road width narrows to a lane between the two Grade 2 cottages and there’s no pavement or verge at all and no road drainage, so it floods. Houses cannot be accessed at all without walking in the speeding traffic, along the actual roadway. Road markings have been added on Hedsor Road and Hawks Hill, please add them on this stretch of road too for safety reasons.

Parking issue New Road, 18th April

Thu, 18 Apr 2024 12:48:44 +0100
51.579123 -0.707332

There is a parking issue on New Road, drivers are parking on yellow lines and also on grass verges which has destroyed the grass. It also makes it difficult to drive down the road sometimes as the parking is on both sides of the street. This issue occurs mostly on Mon-Fri when school and nursery pupils are being taken too and from school, so between 7:00-9:00 and 16:30-18:00. Please can an enforcement officer attend between these times.

Road markings and surface on Muschallik Road require repair, 18th April

Thu, 18 Apr 2024 08:47:00 +0100
51.586102 -0.736606

The Muschalllik Road / Marlow Road junction has deteriorated significantly and the markings are no longer visible. The photos I have posted were taken from google maps 2008 & 2023. This is of particular danger to cyclists and pedestrians who need to cross the junction at the break in the shared pavement/cycle path. I regularly cycle across this junction and have noticed a significant increase in tanker traffic to and from the Little Marlow Sewage works in the past year or so and I think this has led to a rapid decline in the state of the road surface. This represents a hazard to cyclists and walkers crossing the junction, especially at night. It requires urgent attention. All the tanker drivers I have come across have approached this junction with care and consideration when I wish to cross. However, whilst repairing this junction and re-painting the lines it would be a good opportunity to review signage and possible improvements to safety for all users.

Failed deteroritating road surface becoming impassable., 17th April

Wed, 17 Apr 2024 12:55:44 +0100
51.600683 -0.7091

Whole section of road that meets the Zebra crossing heading towards High Wycombe has completely failed, temporary repairs are a joke, it is becoming impassable, I have now raised this issue with Joy Morrissey MP as I believe Bucks Council are putting all road users at serious risk of serious injury. Nobody from the council is listening. Court action is inevitable, it is a disgusting state of affairs.
