Large pothole., 14th March

Thu, 14 Mar 2024 15:02:08 +0000
51.390346 -0.666532

This pothole is I am not a specialist but I believe that potholes must be filled with sand and gravel and well compacted. Then, and only then must tarmac be applied and the whole pothole must be sealed properly to stop rain water. If that is not done, the water will eventually freeze and the pothole will be alles kaputt. this pothole is ten metres away from the junction with The Covert and the 3020.

Large potholes both sides of street, 4th March

Mon, 04 Mar 2024 16:26:43 +0000
51.419011 -0.682435

These potholes have been here for several weeks. They are very large Eg 110cm long x 80cm wide x 20cm deep Due to location one cannot avoid easily as road not lit up, pot holes often disguised when full of rain water and side of road looks like it has given way. My car tyre has been damaged as a result and is now flat, needing a replacement tyre. More pictures available.

Fresh, NOT chlorinated water escaping onto the road. Affinity water has testes it & said it is not chlorinated water & is most probably fresh underground water escaping through a broken pipe. Ongoing Dangerous Parking in Close Proximity to T-junction, 16th February

Fri, 16 Feb 2024 09:42:01 +0000
51.416408 -0.6972

Hello, There is an ongoing issue with vehicles parking too close to the T-junction between Fernbank Place & Fernbank Road. These create a risk to road users, by impairing visibility for vehicles trying to use the T-junction. It would seem that double-yellow lines are needed to reduce the risk of accidents by making it clear that parking within 10m of the junction is needed.
