ISSUE: Violent Crime - Town Centre/High Street
ACTION: The area has had patrols from the Neighbourhood team and seen an increase from police conducting hot spot patrols on operations and from other departments.
Targeted patrols 4-6pm around key locations targeting street drinkers.
Dedicated patrols on foot in the high Street 2100-0300 Friday and Saturday night.
Joint patrols with Business Improvement Districts (BID) wardens
Working with homeless outreach team to signpost individuals and offer support
Working with council to introduce alcohol exclusion zone for Town Centre. If successful this will come into force Spring 24.
Community Protection Notices issued to persistent aggressive beggars at Tesco Extra.
Have Your Says (HYS) been held at Curve and Barclays Bank

nn1 Drugs Warrant executed at an address in Chalvey and closure of property due to drug related asb. Suspects arrested and interviewed
